This month’s student invention!
As part of their program, Bar Pro Academy’s students must create exciting new cocktails. The best creation of the previous class is featured here.
A cocktail from Nicolas: The Elixir:
Take a sprig of Rosemary, twist it into a wreath and stuff it into the bottom of an Old fashioned glass. Add a shot of Chartreuse (a strong, peppery french liqueur) and set it aside for a moment. In your mixing glass, muddled half of a lime,
some simple syrup (or a tsp of sugar) and some mint leaves. Add a shot of Gin, some ice, and shake vigourously! Go back to your O.F. glass, swirl the Chartreuse around the edges of the glass and light it on fire! While the Rosemary is roasting, double-strain the shaker contents into the glass.
Decorate with a mint leaf and a lime zest. Absolutely sublime. Strong, clean and refreshing.
