Since taking Bartending A to Z, I have been working in an awesome bar with great people making lot of money. The course definitely gave me the confidence and know-how to get my foot in the door and get my first bar job. The course is definitely worth every penny.
Lisa Baskin, 2004
After being in class at Bar Pro Academy for only two weeks, I got a job in a restaurant and then got promoted to assistant manager a week later week, all with the knowledge already acquired. That was amazing!
Jonathan Loyer, 2006

I had a lot of fun taking the course, which covered an extensive array of topics related to bartending. My house parties are a big hit!
Piero Sorrini, 2005
Great instruction - relaxed but thorough, with a "behind-the-scenes" perspective as to what you can expect, for all possible types of employment - including your neighborhood pub, night club or a five star restaurant. This course can apply to all those who want to become a professional bartender
Will Render, 2006
I would recommend Bar Pro Academy to anybody that is interested in learning how to become a Bartender or advancing your career in the Bar/Nightclub/Restaurant industry. I was taught hand's on how to mix and prepare drinks properly, educated on wines and spirits and most importantly what to really expect in this industry. The teacher were excellent, motivational and inspirational and truly made the class very exciting to attend.
Jamie Carpenter, 2006
The program designed and offered by Bar Pro Academy is a great program that encourages creativity and flexibility in working in a bar atmosphere. Some of my present bartenders are graduates of this program. I am also familiar with this course since I was one of the program’s graduates in the summer of 1999.
I already look forward to hiring graduates of the program, and I would also encourage my present staff to fine-tune their skills by attending these courses.

I am the owner/operator of L’Autre Oeil, a bistro-bar in Gatineau, Québec. We specialize in imported beers and wines (we carry over 180 different varieties of beer alone) and brunch menus.
I have known Bar Pro Academy’s instructors for many years, in fact, since 1997 when I first took this bartending class. When I decided to open my own resto-bar, I also called on their expertise for advice and suggestions. It would be my pleasure to recommend the school to my guests, friends and family. I am sure that any graduate from this new program would be more than suited to find his or her place in the industry.

I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding bartending work of your students. They served our difficult and unusual needs in a professional, cheerful and creative manner. I am especially pleased with their ability to handle the fast-paced rush that is an inevitable part of bartending. If all your students are even remotely similar in their respective demeanor and presentation, I have nothing but praise for their training. In short, they were well equipped to handle our specific situation.
The committee was quite pleased with the knowledge, adaptability and work ethic of the student bartenders. We are submitting a recommendation that our organization use the services of your student bartenders on a regular basis. Once again, thank you. Your services were greatly appreciated.

On the weekend of May 12th, 1998, Nepean High School held it’s 75th Reunion celebration. Over the course of the weekend and estimated two thousand people, aged 19 to 90 visited the school to attend the various events. The most popular functions were at night when we offered three different venues, each with it’s own bar. The successful and smooth operation of these licensed areas would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of Mr Duquet-duhamel and the student bartenders who set up the bar areas, staffed and maintained them during the evenings and disassembled them afte closing time.
On behalf of the school, I would like to personally acknowledge and thank Mr Duquet-Duhamel for organizing this event for us. Not only is this gentleman a consummate professional, but clearly a respected and loved instructor. He set clearly stated and attainable goals for his students and they met and surpassed them every one. His enthousiastic leadership was greatly appreciated by all. I would recommend these students, under the direction of Mr Duquet-Duhamel, for any event which seeks to provide a high degree of professional service for their clientele.
Once again, I would like to reiterate that the overall success of the weekend can be directly attributed to the students and in particular, Mr. Duquet-Duhamel. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
Emily Darby, Nepean High School 75th Organizing Committee, 1998
